Federal Affairs
The Federal Affairs Office is the intergovernmental liaison between City government and the Federal government and is responsible for presenting the City's interests to the Congress and the Executive Branch.
The Federal Affairs Office handles day-to-day management of the City's federal priorities with Maryland state’s Senators and Representatives, other members of the House and Senate, the White House and other federal agencies. MOGR coordinates with city departments to ensure the City's' positions and priorities are communicated to key federal elected and appointed officials.
The City of Baltimore engages with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the National League of Cities, other large urban cities around the country, and other national associations to lobby Congress and the Administration on issues of mutual concern.
